Consolidated Construction did an excellent job with an exterior project on my home. The project included removal/replacement of trim, painting the trim including windows of the entire home, painting porch ceilings and installing new fans, as well as the removal/replacement of front and back porch flooring from wood to composite. Highly recommend!

Common questions and tips from our work with Columbia customers.
- Can repairs be planned around my business hours?
- Start by telling your contractor how your building runs: when you open, when patients or customers arrive and which areas can be closed off. Noise, dust and blocked entrances are usually the main concerns. Outdoor work and interior work can be sequenced differently, and sections can be phased. Call us with your schedule, and we can talk through what is possible for your space.
- How do you find a recurring commercial roof leak?
- A leak that keeps coming back usually means the earlier repair treated the symptom, not the entry point. Finding it means tracing the water from the interior stain back through the structure, then checking flashing, penetrations, seams and places where the roof meets a wall. Water can travel a long way before it shows, so the source is often some distance from the wet ceiling.
Tip
Report Small Building Problems Before They Grow
Give staff one easy way to report ceiling stains, musty smells, soft spots around windows and cracked drywall. Those small signs often point to water getting in. Note the date, the location and the weather when each one appeared, and take a photo. A simple log helps a contractor trace the cause, and lets you plan repairs before they disrupt the work day.
